Who are they
Shinece Carr
Founder & CEO
Shinece Carr, MA, CPE, is the Founder of Survivor’s Healing Sanctuary and has spent over a decade supporting survivors of sexual assault and their families. With a background in clinical psychology and marriage & family counseling, she is a certified advocate and trainer in sexual assault, domestic violence, and crisis response. Shinece also serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Florida Crisis Response Team (Circuit 7), responding to mass casualty and national tragedies.

Katy McKnight
Ceo and Founder Bound for better
Kathy McKnight is not only a woman of GOD, but considers herself as no one’s victim, but a survivor of Domestic Violence. Kathy found it not robbery to start her own 501c3 non-profit called Bound for Better in January 2014 to help women build their self-esteem and know their worth. She is a certified Victim Specialist III in the State of Maryland.
